Iran Cinema Verite fest invites Spanish director

Famed Spanish film director Ernesto del Rio has been invited to attend the 11th Cinema Verite film festival in Iran.

The director of the Zinebi-International Festival of Documentary and Short Films of Bilbao, Ernesto del Rio, has been invited to attend the upcoming “Cinema Verite” Iran International Documentary Film Festival, organizers announced recently.

Vanesa Fernandez, a member of the selection committee of the Zinebi festival, will accompany Del Rio to Tehran.

Latest edition of Zinebi-International Festival of Documentary and Short Films of Bilbao was held November in the Spanish city of Bilbao. It is an Academy Award qualifying festival.

The 11th edition of the Cinema Verite will take place in the Iranian capital city of Tehran from December 10-17. The Experimental and Documentary Film Center is the organizer of the festival.
